August 2018 Hot and Spicy Bullet Journal Spreads

August Hot & Spicy Bullet Journal Spreads

1 August 2018

I'm actually going to stick to a theme this month, because I love challenges and working within limitations that somehow free me from distractions. So, as August makes me think of the lovely heat of long summer days, the spreads will be filled with hot and spicy chilli peppers!

An abundance of of spice all month long -- well, of the chilli pepper plant variety at any rate. I've drawn everything out in black and white as I'm considering creating printables (and perhaps some freebies!) if anyone is interested, so do please let me know if you'd like to see these as printables for your bullet journal or planner.

As soon as I'm done with this post I'll start colouring them in with markers and paints ... lots of lovely strong reds and happy hot oranges with a mix of purple and green. I've also included Dutch doors in a couple of the weekly spreads. The first is a vertical one:

The second is a horizontal one and I had tons of fun with this one, I love Dutch doors!

The next one is a pretty normal weekly, I just kept filling up the empty spaces with chillies and leaves. I'm still trying to figure out if I prefer horizontal or vertical spreads fot the weeks.

I've already completed the spread for week 4 but as it's in colour I'll post it along with these pages once they're coloured in as well, which should be soon as it's already August and I need to start using the journal. Hope you liked my first attempt at a theme ... I'll have to start drumming up ideas for September soon. Cheers.
